The CEO's Role in Creating a CEO Succession Plan

CEO succession is a given. This session explores how to effectively prepare for CEO succession be it a planned or unplanned departure. Participants will learn what succession planning is and isn’t, how to create an effective succession plan, why succession planning is an ongoing process and how to address succession planning with Boards. This webinar is designed to address actual concerns and succession planning questions participants are facing in their organizations. So, come prepared with questions addressing the challenges you are facing. In the end, succession planning is all about providing consistency to stakeholders, continuing the strategic direction with minimal disruption, and being prepared for an emergency or planned departure. If done right, sound succession planning can also reduce stress on staff and Board members when the inevitable transition occurs.
