Texas Healthcare Trustees presents the Ollie Jo Bozeman Excellence in Administrative Professionalism Award to a hospital administrative professional with an exceptional record of commitment and contributions to ensure quality hospital governance.

Ashley Bellew serves as the senior administration manager at OakBend Medical Center, where she oversees administration, marketing and development initiatives. OakBend Medical Center is the last remaining independent nonprofit hospital in the Greater Houston area, serving Fort Bend County and surrounding communities at its hospitals, emergency centers, surgery centers, physical therapy clinics, physician offices, and more.

With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in child and family development from Stephen F. Austin State University, Bellew brings a unique blend of expertise in both organizational management and human behavior to her role. Throughout her academic journey, she actively engaged in internships and volunteer work, demonstrating her commitment to community and health care advocacy. Bellew contributed her time and skills to organizations such as Business Professionals of America, Health Occupations Students of America, Texas Children’s Hospital, Southeast Memorial, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, Devereaux Texas Treatment Network, and Head Start.
